forty-two.

Today is my birthday, and from the title you may have guessed that I am forty-two years old today.  Yes, it's true.  :)

So here's a funny thing.  Last night I discovered on our iPod Touch a song by The Afters called "Forty-two".  I don't know the reason they wrote this song or why they called it that, but I looked up the lyrics today, and it seems rather fitting.  It's kind of how I've been feeling lately.  Just how to really live life and not just go through the motions.

Oh, so I was looking at an online forum and found this remark about the title: 

"As for how they chose the name, it may have something to to with Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, where they say that the answer to life is "42." Since this song is about finding meaning in life and making your life count, it could be a possibility." 

And I need to get my kids up & at it, since I planned a secret adventure for the six of us this morning and we have to leave soon.  More later....
