Naomi had an absolutely *great* fifth birthday yesterday, complete with lots of gifts (most found at Goodwill!) and emails from David & Marissa, who are at my parents' house in Michigan this week. Here Naomi is, wearing her new birthday outfit, in the aftermath of opening gifts yesterday afternoon. She loved every moment of her big day. :)
We had Matt's brother Mark, his wife, Anita, and our friend Erlinda over for pizza after church. Naomi requested pepperoni & pineapple! Then Naomi opened gifts and after our guests left, we went to Coldstone Creamery, thanks to some coupons and a gift card. Yum! Naomi had such a busy day, she fell right to sleep on the chairs next to me at evening church. :)
Matt had an enjoyable Father's Day, in case you were wondering, and he said it was only appropriate to "share" the day with Naomi's birthday. :)
