Three years ago!

Three years ago yesterday was the big moving day into our "new" home that we bought at an auction of foreclosed homes.  It's wild to think that it's been that long that we've called this house "home".  Seems kind of official after three years, don't you think?

I thought it would be fun to post a few photos from that day and the birthday celebrations that happened after the moving/cleaning process happened.  Wow, is it amazing to see how much different our house looked then and how much smaller everybody's kids were then!

The infamous moment when we realized the matches were packed somewhere and Pastor went out to get his propane torch to light the candles for the birthday "boys", Mark & Joshua.  :)

Caleb & Hannah... good friends who have changed a *lot* in three years!

Joshua, looking rather like a vampire, with Jesse to the left and friend Lydia to the right.

Naomi & David, with the huge piles of freshly moved stuff in the background.  Wow, am I glad that isn't what the house looks like now!!

Everyone enjoying a break to visit after the hustle & bustle of moving furniture.
